Book Week begins…

The Infants began Book Week with a special visitor. Father Sam came and read “Tell us a Story” to the children. This actions and voices led to much hilarity and enjoyment. A great way to start Book Week!

On Tuesday 23rd February the children came and ate some porridge as part of our lenten breakfast. The children enjoyed the porridge and many had seconds!
Thank you to the children and parents who came, we raised £35 for Mary’s Meals. This is a charity that helps to provide meals for the children in the poorest communities around the world.

The next lenten breakfast will be Tuesday 1st March.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Lenten Breakfast

On Shrove Tuesday –children, parents and staff came into school and shared a delicious plate of pancakes. The breakfast marks the start of our Lenten preparation. The delicious pancakes were enjoyed by all. Never have I seen so much syrup on some pancakes. During Lent we will be holding a Lenten porridge breakfast every Tuesday so please do join us. Money donated will go to Mary’s Meals and ACN (Aid to the Church In Need). A big thank you must go to all the staff and parents who made the event so successful and to Chartwells for donating the pancakes . We raised £108 –a huge sum.
