Our Year 6 class have been so busy with their end of year production ‘Oliver’. They gave an outstanding performance on Thursday evening in front of their families and friends. They all did a great job, singing, dancing and acting. All of their hard work truly paid off.
A special thank you to Miss Scheuermann, Mrs Allen and Mrs Ley, who ensured the singing and acting was to such a high standard. Miss Buckland, Mrs Thomas, Mrs Walding and Mr and Mrs Coutinho for all their help and support in preparing the children.
Sports Day was just fantastic! Sedgehill School who kindly hosted the day sent a number of students to assist. I must say they were super ambassadors for their school. They helped the children to enjoy the day and compete in all the races. Our children were fully engaged and had lots of fun! After a break for lunch the PSA kindly provided ice-cream for all the children and staff. A game of football was arranged for Year 6 and staff and then we had the relays. We finished the day by having parent and teacher races, thankfully no injuries other than a little hurt pride! A great day was had by all.
Last Friday the sun was shining and we all enjoyed the delights on offer. There was food, ice-creams and a plethora of activities to enjoy. Our school fair was attended by the Deputy Mayor and our local community police team. There was a lot of hard work and time dedicated in ensuring this event was a huge success. My huge thanks go to the PSA, parents and staff who volunteered their time to run stalls, paint faces and nails, offer sporting activities and provide refreshments. We raised an amazing £1200 and I know this money will go to very good use supporting the lovely children in our school.
