Good Results for St Augustine’s

We are delighted in our recent OFSTED Inspection on 27th -28th June 2018, the report is a positive one and the school has been judged as Good under the new Ofsted framework.

Although the report will not be on the OFSTED website until September, the full Inspection Report is available to access on our school’s website. The report recognises that the school provides a good standard of education and highlights many areas of strength across the school, recognising that we know our school well and have clearly identified appropriate areas for continuing improvements.

It was particularly pleasing to note the schools Personal development, behaviour and welfare was judged Outstanding due to the “values of family, respect and care [that] radiate palpably throughout the school” and “pupils thrive in the school’s nurturing environment” with “relationships between staff and pupils [being] excellent”.

We are also delighted our Early Years Provision was judged Outstanding. The inspectors were particularly impressed with the range and quality of activities, the learning environments and progress made by the children.
