Songfest

On Thursday afternoon we took a group of children from Years 2, 3 & 4 to Sedgehill School to participate in Lewisham Songfest, organised by Lewisham Music Trust.  The children had a chance to rehearse songs that they had been practising in School before they go to perform to an audience of family and friends.  I must say I was very impressed by their enthusiasm and passion.   There was singing, actions and some wonderful dance moves.  It was a great opportunity for our children to collaborate with others in this way and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  Thank you to all the staff who gave up their time to accompany the children.
