A good school provides well for the needs of its pupils and prepares them effectively for the next stage of their education or employment. Schools rated as ‘good’ receive a one-day short inspection every three years, or a full inspection if the school’s performance has changed dramatically.
St. Augustine’s School is part of the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA) programme. This involves our children developing a knowledge and understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of a Child. The programme has three stages; bronze, silver and gold awards. These take time and effort and schools must go through each award in the build up to gold. Our Equality Council has worked tirelessly to educate our School community and we continue to work together to help build a fairer and more just future for us all.
