Geography

Geography explains the past, illuminates the present and prepares us for the future.  What could be more important than that? Michael Palin

Geography is a subject that is packed with excitement and wonder. It teaches children about the world’s people, places and environments, and the interactions between them. Geography helps children to understand how and why places are changing, and to better imagine, predict and work towards what the future may hold.

At St. Augustine’s, our children will develop into explorers. We aim to excite them about the possibilities of what the world has in store for them to explore and experience. Children should leave St. Augustine’s with a sense of their place in the world, both culturally and physically, equipped with the geographical skills and desire to continue exploring the world around them.
