St. Augustine's Catholic Primary School

Parent Staff Association (PSA)

St. Augustine’s School has a wonderful Parent Staff Association (PSA) who are a huge support to us. The PSA is an enthusiastic and active group, organising a range of fund-raising functions throughout the year. Parents of children in the Nursery and School automatically become members of the PSA as their child joins our family. The PSA welcomes all volunteer help for its events, more hands makes light work!

Some events run during the year are specifically for the children but others are for families and offer a great opportunity for our community to come together, have fun, get to know each other even more and raise money for our School.

If you would like to know more and get involved with the PSA and the fundraising we do for our children, please come along to the School Office and we can give you any information you should require.

Being an active member of the PSA is a great way to get involved with the School in a positive capacity. It is up to you how much or how little time you can offer, we need people to wrap the children’s Christmas presents just as much as we need people to help set up and run the summer fete!

Christmas Fayre

I know that many of you attended the Christmas Fayre last Friday.  It was a wonderful event with lots of fun on offer.  Thank you to our PSA for the many hours they dedicated to our School to prepare and organise the spectacular event including organising all the stalls, buying all the items required, decorating a grotto, wrapping a present for every child and also spending the day enabling children to visit Santa.

A special mention also Mr and Mrs Ethampemi and their extended family, Mrs Wong, Ms Oladokan, Mrs Satheesbeen and Santa Claus for all their help.

We raised a grand total of £1163.57 at the Christmas Fayre, which will be put to very good use in School for all children.  Thank you!
