Bike to School Week

Next week is Bike to School Week.  We would love to see as many children, and their families, cycling to school as possible.  Remember to wear a helmet and check your bike’s brakes and tyres before setting off. More children cycling to school means less cars on the road and less emissions so as well as being good for us it’s also a boost for our environment.  Think of all the fresh air, freedom and fun you can have along the way!  The children have all been asked to take part in a poster competition to encourage others to cycle to school.  Please bring your entries in by Thursday next week – we can’t wait to see them and if you take any photos of your cycling journey to school we’d love to see those too!

If you do take part, you might want to register your participation and be entered into a prize draw to win a Frog bike worth £400.  The link to do so is https://www.sustrans.org.uk/campaigns/bike-to-school-week-pledge/ – good luck!”
