Year 1 Trip to Royal Observatory

Year 1 will be visiting the Planetarium at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich on Wednesday 26th June 2024 to take part in a Discovery Day. We will watch a planetarium show, learn about Ted’s Space Adventure, take part in a fun space workshop. This links to our humanities topic on Exceptional Explorers.
The children will be travelling by bus from school to Greenwich.
Departing: 9:30am Returning: 3:00pm
Lunch: The children will need a packed lunch. If you would like the school to provide your child with a packed lunch please indicate via Parent Pay.
Reminder: No sweets, nuts, glass bottles or fizzy drinks.
Children will be required to wear full school uniform ensure they also have a suitable coat. Cost: £7.50 to be paid via Parent Pay.
Please visit Parent Pay to give consent for your child to attend this trip and indicate if you are able to assist by Monday 17th June. Without consent your child will not be allowed to attend and if consent is given after the due date the school will not be able to provide a packed lunch as this is ordered a week in advance.
