St. Augustine's Catholic Primary School

Year 4 Trip to The British Library

Year 4 will be visiting The British Library as part of their Geography topic. The children will explore maps on display in the Treasures Gallery, thinking critically about their many uses and styles. It will offer opportunities for them to enjoy a hands-on workshop from The British Library where they will learn all about maps; the history, why they help us and how they can differ.

The trip is on Friday 22nd March and I am delighted to tell you that there is no charge for the trip.

Children will be required to bring a packed lunch. Please remember no nuts, sweets or fizzy drinks.

Please visit Parent Pay to give consent for your child to attend and indicate if you are able to assist on this trip by Monday 11th March.
