Our science week last week was extremely successful. Mrs Thomas set a great ‘egg’ challenge in an assembly at the beginning of the week. ‘How do you make an egg bounce? Children were asked to work out the answer by the final assembly of the week. On Friday we held a fantastic assembly where each class shared the learning that had taken place throughout Science week. The all-important results were revealed; the egg should be soaked in vinegar until the shell softens. The children were amazed when the egg was sliced open and the membrane and yolk were still intact. Thank you to Mrs Thomas for engaging the children in the scientific element of our creative curriculum.
