Year 6 Trip to Westbrook Bay

Year 6 is going to the beach for the day on Tuesday 19th July 2022. They will be going to Westbrook Bay, a seaside resort on the Thanet Peninsula in the southeast corner of England.

The children will leave school promptly 9am and will travel by coach (fitted with seat belts). They will return to school at 4:00pm (subject to traffic conditions).

The children do not need to wear school uniform but should wear clothes suitable for the beach. In a bag they should bring their swimming costume, a towel, a sun hat and sun cream and sandals. They should also take a light rain coat.

The children will need a packed lunch and a drink. If your child is in receipt of free school meals a packed lunch will be provided by the kitchen.

Reminder: No nuts, sweets, fish, glass bottles or cans please

Trip Cost: Payment of £10 per child and £10 per adult (if accompanying on this trip) to be made via Parent Pay, the school has already provided a subsidy for this trip.

Parent Helpers: If you would like to help and join Year 6 on the trip please tick the box on the permission slip below and return it to School Office by Friday 1st July 2022.
