Year 5 Visits The Old Royal Naval College
Year 5 had a fabulous time at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, with their federation partner class from Holy Cross. They explored the grounds and the site of the naval museum and where Greenwich Palace once stood. As part of their Tudor study day they handled replicas of Tudor objects, made connections and raised further questions to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the Tudor monarchs and the differences between rich and poor. They finished the day with a friendly game in the Skittles alley where they all had a go rolling the wooden bowling balls with lots of excitement.
